The objectives of festival:
1. create the constructive and collaborative interaction between the artists and the capital market
2. Encourage artists to produce effective works with subject matter of "investment in the capital market"
3. Attract the artist's attention to the point of the Authorization and supervision management role of the capital market.
4. Promoting investment culture and influence on public thoughts by Cartoon Art

Terms and Conditions:
participate for all artists is free and there is no age limitation.
All Artists could submit 5 works maximum for every section.
Submitted Works should not include an award-winning before, and the reviewed works of previous years not be admitted.
Personal details (address, phone and…) should be attached with works.
The works size: 2000 pixels, jpeg format and the resolution should be 300 DPI.
Creation techniques are free.
The Festival has the right to use works for any commercially purpose.
All the winners of the awards should be Presence at the closing ceremony.

“Sports from start to finish”
Between the start and the finish line there is room for hope, euphoria and dissappointment. Great achievements and unexpected failure, both from the individual atlete as the sports team, easily meet the press.
But what about all the other souls, driven by a sport microbe? The conditional sporter, the stubborn amateur, the dubitable beginner, the not so talented enthusiast, ...?
How does it go in that stage when playing becomes sport, fad turns into passion, when the supporter becomes a sportsman, talent is noticed?
With the exception of motorised sports all physical sports are allowed.
Annual Cartoon Contest – Rules and regulation 2016
1. Participation
All contestants will be admitted with no distinction made regarding nationality or age. There are two categories:
· Youth category up to 15 years inclusive;
· Adult category: 16 years and older.
Both professional and non-professional cartoonists are allowed to participate in this contest.
2. Theme
The main theme is ‘Sports from start to finish’. This year Amnesty International offers a special prize to the best cartoon with theme ‘Right to medical assistance’.
More information about the main theme is to be found in annex to this regulation.
3. Entries
· Contributions have to be digital works. They shouldn’t contain an explanation of the drawing.
· The digital works has to be sent in JPEG format with a minimum of resolution of 300 dpi (2480 x 3543 pixels).
· Dimensions including any passe-partout 21 x 30 cm (A4).
· Number of entries per contestant: maximum five for each theme.
· You have to record your contact details through www.olen.be (search: kartoenale).
· You can sign up your participation from 1 July 2016.
· The originals of the rewarded cartoons will be asked and must be sent to
Community Olen,

within 2 days after the request of the organization.
4. Property rights
Prize-winning works will become the property of the organizer or theme sponsor. All works selected may be used by the organizers to promote the contest and the village of Olen.
5. Evaluation
The jury consists of artists, cartoonists and laymen. Decisions made by the jury cannot be challenged.
6. Catalogue/Cartoon book
Selected works will be considered for inclusion in a catalogue. The authors of these works will receive a free copy of the catalogue during the prize ceremony or it will be send afterwards by mail.

Winners Of 47th Edition Of The World Gallery Of Cartoons Skopje 2016
The magical world of cartoons that merges art, knowledge and intelligence into sharp drawings appeared once again in the world public within the 47th edition of the World Gallery of Cartoons Skopje 2016. Out of 260 cartoonists with 1027 original works from 36 countries all over the world who have applied, the awarded authors are:

This year there will be no official opening of the event, but, Macedonian public will have a chance to see selected works by the participants of the World Gallery of Cartoons Skopje 2016 at the OSTEN Gallery, from 26th May to 16th June 2016.
Consistent with our commitment to promoting art on paper, as every year, the basic criteria to participate in the World Gallery of Cartoons was to apply with original, hand-drawn cartoons, satirical drawings, and comics. The cartoonists from all over the world welcome this commitment of ours and recognize our endeavors to encourage genuine artistic values in the creation of cartoons. That is, after all, also confirmed by the traditionally great number of participants in our event: this year 260 cartoonists with 1027 original works from 36 countries all over the world have applied!
The figures speak for themselves in context of the interest shown to participate in the competition; on the other hand, the issue of the quality of the works sent was entrusted to real professionals in the field of cartoons.
The first selection was made by prominent cartoonist from Serbia, Nedeljko UBOVIC, while members of the international jury deciding on the prizes consisted of:

Their shared assessment is that this year’s edition of World Gallery of Cartoons received cartoons, satirical drawings, and comics of exceptional quality, both with regard to the very idea and conveying the message, and to the artistic expression… which, by the way, made their work even more difficult. Besides the differences in the styles and media, the participating cartoonists have expressed their attitudes, considerations, critics and predictions through the universal language of cartoons. From this super hard competition of drawn ideas and messages, the decisions of the jury members arise.

All entries will be considered acquisitive by O PIU Publishing House. The possession, use and other rights in these jobs are held by Editora O PIU Ltd., which reserves the right to make use of them to his will.
